Mud Festival 2010 In Daechon Beach

The Boryeong Mud Festival is so great that we're going twice! In fact, many people do go both weekends--it's so much fun, why wait another year to go again? Or maybe you can't make it the first weekend, or you missed the deadline ㅠ ;))
By the way, every July, a beach in Chungcheon hosts the greatest event in the country
The Boryeong Mud Festival! ;)

Way back in the 90s the people of Boryeong discovered that the sediment from their mudflats is wonderful for the skin. So they developed some products and held an event to get the word out. Now in its 13th year, the Boryeong Mud Festival has grown into one of the biggest mud festivals in the world! If you haven't been before, it should be at the top of your list. If you have, it's obvious why you want to return!

For a just over week, Daecheon beach in Boryeong is transformed into a mud amusement park. There are pools and waterfalls of mud, slippery slides, contests and games. You can paint yourself with colored mud or make mud soap and mud pottery.

Even if you don't want to get muddy, don't forget you're at the beach! With all the activity going on, it's easy to forget that Daecheon beach is quite nice on its own--wide and sandy, with nice warm waters in July. In the evening, the festival stage holds singing and dancing performances. At night, fireworks light up the beach.
First week,July 17,2010!
